Well, I have officially travelled 52 times around the sun today. I am firmly in the zone called ‘mid-life’ and yes, ‘crisis’ looms. Not all crises are bad, however! As I prepare for Sunday, I have been thinking about what is most important in life and how to make the most of it.

This Sunday January 15 our text is Acts 4:23-31 and the title is “Planting Big Trees”. We are coming to God’s Word from the question of how to put ourselves in the position of being ready for God’s next big actions in our lives: both in our church and in our community. I’m looking forward to seeking Him in prayer and worship together on Sunday, and on Tuesday January 17th and Thursday January 19th at 7pm in the Chapel this coming ‘Week of Prayer’.
