Jesus said in Matthew 21:13 that “God’s House is to be a House of Prayer“. We recognize that apart from Jesus, we can do nothing (John 15:5). Our desire is to be a “House of Prayer”. We do nothing until we pray. We rely on prayer to seek God and pray for His will to be done in our lives, our church, our community, our city, and the world. We rely on prayer as we minister to one another to seek guidance and relief in our daily challenges, and in our desire for greater intimacy with the Lord.
Cedarview Weekly Prayer Meeting
Every Tuesday evening, brothers and sisters are encouraged to meet together for a time of prayer at 7 pm on Google Meet (contact [email protected] for the link). This evening is set aside weekly to intercede for the ministries of Cedarview, our community and the world.
Pre & Post Service Prayer
Sundays from 10 am – 10:20 am time is set aside to pray for the worship service. All are welcome to join us in the Prayer Room (located behind the sanctuary). Prayer for healing and ministry time for anyone who has a need is available after each worship service at the front of the sanctuary.
Cedarview Prayer Chain
Do you have a prayer request or praise item? The Cedarview Prayer Chain takes requests daily to the Lord. You can send an email to [email protected]
If you do send a request item to the email address above, please also remember to provide an update so we can adjust our prayer accordingly. We’d also like to join you in praising the Lord for answered prayer so please let us know the results either way!
“Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God.” (Phil 4:6-7). Here at Cedarview we consider the matter of praying for others seriously and offer our assurance that your request will be lifted up before the Lord by our LifeLine prayer chain.
